PU Sole Characteristics:
- Good oil resistant. Immersion into petrol for 120 hours will cause minor shrink or expand. The % of Deformation:
- Normal sole = 32.4% vs. PU Sole = 2.19%
- Abrasion : 2-3 times more reliable than normal sole (Rubber Sole).
- PU sole is softer, comfortable and lighter in weight (0.5-0.6 time of the rubber sole weight).
- Acid Resistance: PU is a high molecular material. Test results after immersion into acid and alkaline:
- Test 1 Results – Tensile Strength : 8.3Mpa Elongation : 240%
- Test 2: Soaking in water for 48 hours, Results – Water proof (Standard : GB12018-89)
- Stainless Steel Toe Cap : 200 Joules (DIN23768) German Standard
- ESD Properties : Volume resistivity : 1.0 x 107-8 ohm/square
